  12. Harddisk, more (Fast) RAM, MUI v2.2, MagicWB, 68020+ cpu,

  14. Optimal configuration (required to exploit this product
  15. to its fullest):
  16. Amiga OS 2.1 or higher, 2 MByte+ RAM, harddisk, MUI v2.2,
  17. 68020+ cpu, min. 640x256 display, ARexx, Directory Opus 5,
  18. MagicWB

  21. REGISTERED USERS:
  22.   You MUST completely re-install the game, either to floppy disk
  23.   or to harddisk. Please delete all Mipric stuff installed on
  24.   your harddisk and make sure that there's no MIPRIC: assign.
  25.   If this assign is made in your user-startup, delete it.
  26.   Enter also ASSIGN MIPRIC: REMOVE in your shell to make really
  27.   sure that there's no MIPRIC: drawer. With valid MIPRIC: assign
  28.   or older system/game files on your harddisk, it might be
  29.   that the games do not work after the installation process.

  36. WELCOME TO MIPRIC STORY SYSTEM 3
  37. --------------------------------

  39. The Mipric Story System is a system for creating + running classic
  40. interactive novels. From version 3.00 on, you can not only play
  41. Mipric, but also Infocom V3+4 games. Several special Mipric games
  42. are availible as well. MUI turns the MIPRIC Interpreter into the
  43. ultimate interpreter for Infocom stories!!!
  44. NOTE: This archive just contains the interpreter. You'll also need
  45.       an interactive novel, either an Infocom type 3 or 4 game,
  46.       or a Mipric game. Currently availible Mipric games are The
  47.       Timeless Empire and The Ice Princess. For more information
  48.       about these games, read the .readme's of those archives
  49.       (Mipric_TEI.lha and (Mipric_IP.lha).

  51. From this release on, the Mipric Story System is split up into several
  52. archives to allow disk users to unpack it to disk and to update single
  53. parts of the story system.
  54. The archives are:
  55.   Mipric_Basic.lha    - The basic package with interpreter and tools.
  56.   Mipric_<key>_x.lha  - These are the Mipric games. <key> stands for
  57.                         the short name of a game. E.g., "TEI" stands
  58.                         for "The Timeless Empire I", while "IP" stands
  59.                         for "The Ice Princess". 'x' is the current
  60.                         release number, so that you can easily identify
  61.                         updates.
